The Idea · 001

A circle,
scanned into
focus.

Opiik comes from optic — the act of focused, intentional looking. The mark renders the letter O as a stack of horizontal lines, thinning at the edges and thickening through the middle — like a lens scanning into clarity, or sun on a horizon. Pure geometry, controlled rhythm, no decoration.

The mark is built from fourteen horizontal bars contained inside a single circular envelope. Each bar's width is determined by its position on the circle; thickness follows a measured rhythm, thinner at the poles, fuller through the equator.

The family.

A flexible system. One mark, many voices — for every surface and scale.

The mark holds its identity at 16px. The pupil simplifies, the ring thickens, the petals stay readable. One geometry — many resolutions.

Logo Breakdown · 010

Five parts,
one mark.

01

Polar bars — the aperture edges

Thinnest stripes mark where the lens narrows. They open and close the form.

02

Equator pair — the focal weight

Two thickest bars sit on the horizontal axis. They carry the optical mass — the eye lands here first.

03

Circular envelope — the "O"

A single hidden radius dictates every bar's width. It is what makes the mark legible as a letter.

04

Center horizon — the gaze line

The thin gap between the two equator bars implies a horizon — the moment of focus.

05

Tapered rhythm — the optical curve

Bar height grows then shrinks in a measured progression. It gives the mark its breath, its lens-like depth.
